Livery Yard & Facilities

We are a BHS approved livery yard with 35 block built stables all with equimat rubber matting.

Steph has experience with all types of horses / ponies on the ground and on board.  She specialises in showjumping and is a UKCC coach so is always there to help!

• Part Livery - From £18 per day
  
  We offer 5 day and 7 day part livery

Part livery provides a lower cost option for clients who are unable to care for their horses themselves on a daily basis, but who are able to exercise their horses themselves.

Part livery includes-

Stabling, turnout, straw bedding (shavings at extra cost) , all aspects of daily care – feeding, watering, mucking out, skipping out, turning out, bringing in, rug changes, picking out feet and washing legs off, use of facilities (horse walker at extra cost) , lorry / trailer parking (at extra cost)

Owners are responsible for exercising their horse and turnout at weekends if required.

5 day – all of the above Monday – Friday

7 day – all of the above except turnout at weekends

• Standard Full Livery - From £22 per day
  
  We offer 5 day and 7 day full livery

Full livery will provide first class care for your horse.  This will include every aspect of the day to day care of your horse.

This will include everything that part livery provides plus –

Grooming, tack cleaning, basic hard feed, organising vets and farriers, looking after your horse while the vet/farrier visits but excludes vet fees, any vet 

treatment/aftercare, farrier costs, worming, clipping and dietary supplements.

We are able to offer and undertake services such as clipping and trimming for an additional charge.

5 day – all of the above Monday – Friday

7 day – all of the above except turnout at weekends

Owners are responsible for exercising their horse and turnout at weekends if required.

• Full Livery with exercise - From £25 per day
  
  We offer 5 day and 7 day full livery with exercise

 Full livery will provide first class care for your horse aswell as maintaining their fitness through the week.  This will include every aspect of the day to day care of your horse.

This will include everything that standard full livery includes plus –

3 days exercise which will include the horse walker and lungeing 

Free lorry / trailer parking

Trimming 

Discount on lessons

Use of horse walker

5 day – all of the above Monday – Friday

7 day – all of the above except turnout at weekends

• Schooling Livery - From £27 per day

Schooling livery will provide first class care and schooling for your horse.  Whether sessions need to be focussed on general fitness, specific schooling goals or getting your horse competition ready.

Your horse will be schooled by UKCC coach, Pony Club coach and British Showjumping rider Steph Faulkner up to 5 times a week.  Steph is also light enough for ponies and has competed ponies in senior British Showjumping with great success.

Schooling livery includes everything that our full livery with exercise includes plus use of the horse walker.

Owners are responsible for turnout at weekends if required.

• Competition Livery - £29 per day

Competition livery will offer a high quality livery service for horse / ponies competing regularly at any level / discipline.

Individual exercise programmes will be tailored to your horses competition needs. This will incorporate exercising your horse 5 times a week to include hacking, schooling, lungeing etc ensuring that you horse has first class preparation for those important competition days.

Competition livery includes everything schooling livery provides plus-

Competition prep including tack cleaning and bathing.

Steph is also available to compete horses / ponies at British Showjumping competitions and provide help to riders taking their own horse / pony.

We mainly cater for showjumping horses / ponies as we feel this is where our experience lies. Whether you are looking to purchase a horse to be produced and competed or currently have a horse you would like producing or taking on to the next level of its career we have the knowledge and facilities to suit your needs.

Costs associated with entry fees, time / coaching at competitions, travel of the horse to and from competitions in our lorry are to be covered by the owner.

Owners are responsible for turnout at weekends if required.

• Sale Preperation Livery - From £180 per week plus 10% from total sale price

If you are looking to sell your horse / pony we can offer you an excellent service where you can sit back and relax and let us do all the work. We prepare the horse / pony, sort advertisements and photos, purchaser calls, viewings, vettings and setting them off to their new home. You have the option to have as much or as little involvement as you wish.

• Loan of a School Horse/Pony - From £36 Per Day or £85 Per Week (Monday - Friday)

Have a school horse/pony on loan daily/weekly - you must be a regular rider at Valley Farm to loan a pony
