Who can join?


The Pony Club is open to anyone between the age of 4 – 25, if you love horses, enjoy riding and like spending time with them, then Pony Club is for you.


How much will it cost?

Membership is £38 per year (Payable to The Pony Club)

1 hour sessions - £30





What do I get for my money?

A membership pack, 3rd party liability insurance, and the Pony Club quarterly magazine. Members are entitled to take part in all the Pony Club activities organised by Valley Farm. Such as: Competitions, Activity Days, Jumping lessons, Hacks, Cross Country lessons, Summer Camps and lots more. (There are separate charges for the extra activities.

Members work towards achievement badges, progressive tests and efficiency tests with a mixture of practical, riding and stable management sessions, along with being more confident and learning about horses.

Pony Club is a great way to learn new riding skills, how to look after a pony, make new friends, and have a great deal of fun! All this and you don't need your own pony to join!



When is Pony Club?

Pony Club is run fortnightly on a Saturday and Sunday Afternoon. We run 6 groups to suit all ages and experiences.
 

2.00 - 3.00pm (Sat)

3.00 - 4.00pm (Sat)

Advanced Group

Novice Group

4:00 - 5:00pm (Sat)

Intermediate group

2:00 - 3:00pm (Sun)

Tiny Tots group

3.00 - 4.00pm (Sun)

Intermediate group

4.00 - 5.00pm (Sun)

Novice group

Children are split into groups on age and riding ability as we like ages to be similar for the written work.

Competitions & Activities

We hold activities through the school holidays and half terms including a sleepover camp and 3 day camps in the summer.

*Remember* almost every famous rider, showjumper and eventer started to learn their skills with the Pony Club and they all had great fun too!
